About the Book
El Gato is a fun, easy way to teach your children Spanish. As your child reads along with El Gato's adventure, they will be learning
a second language. The book is 7x7 hardcover and is packed with bright, colorful pictures and a glossary on every page teaching how to sound out the Spanish
words as well as the meaning. This makes it easier for your child to learn the language as they grow. If you'd like to learn more, you can view a sample inner
page or watch a video highlighting the book.

Editorial Reviews
El Gato is a delightful little book about a sensitive little cat who tries to make a difference in two little children's lives. The book is written in a very unique way, combining English and Spanish to help children have a fun way to learn new words in another language. Frankie Corrigan has done an excellent job of building a story around a learning experience and Rick Menard's beautiful illustrations complete it beautifully.

Thanks again for the book. I am sure the girls will love it. For now, my oldest (who is almost 5) only knows that there are people that speak Spanish. She doesn’t actually know any Spanish (besides “hola”). She is going into kindergarten soon, and I have looked at the statistics; there is 44%-55% Hispanic population in the elementary schools in our area. So, we better get cracking on the Espanol. Thanks again!

I bought your book at the safe kids fair on Saturday for my 3 year old daughter. She loves it! She can tell you her own story about El Gato now, lol, I think she has it memorized since she had me read it to her over and over and over. She even had to sleep with the book Saturday and Sunday night. It is just too cute. - Dotti
Thanks for the autographed book. My kids love it...they have been saying the spanish words all day. - Jennifer
iHeartElGato!!! - Angela
Dylan would not put down the book this afternoon after his nap, he just kept picking up the book and looking at the pages with El Gato on them and giggling.
Well done Frankie, you are the man. - Brian
After reading El Gato together, my 8 year old said, "That was a good book!!" -Lauri Quinn Loewenberg from TheDreamZone.com
"I've never seen a children's book like it, it is so unique. I was a little concerned that it might be a little too mature for my kids (they are almost 4
& 5) but after reading it and actually learning some Spanish words myself, I think you made it easily understandable. I love the pictures and the cat is
adorable! It also has a moral to the story. You really did an incredible job." - Dara
"I love all the cool, bright pictures and the story is awesome. I had my 5 year old niece over my house this weekend and I sat with her and read El Gato and she loved it!" - Patty
We love the book, I think the delivery is perfect. We will probably be buying another for a nephew. - Mathew
